At 13:30 on September 12, 2020, the opening ceremony for the new graduate students of the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering was held in Room 211, ShaoScience Hall, Yuquan Campus.

The ceremony is divided into two parts. At the first stage, Welcome to Polymer Department, Mr. Chenxing Chen, the host, announced the beginning of the ceremony. Everyone stood up and sang the national anthem. After introducing the guests who attended the opening ceremony, the dean of the department, Prof. Changyou Gao, delivered a speech. First of all, he gave a warm welcome to all the new graduate students who joined the Polymer Department. At the same time, he briefly introduced the development path and future planning of our department, as well as the important historical positioning. He also expressed her expectations for the students from the perspective of KAQ2.0 talent training of Zhejiang University. Prof. Gao's earnest and profound teachings are not short of wit and humor, which attracted the applause and laughter of the students.
