On December 31, 2020, at the occasion of farewell to the old year and welcome to the New Year, students from Department of Polymer Science and Engineering formed a group of Polymer Mask, Epidemic Prevention and Control  to participate in the theme parade of the Students' Day. In the parade, students vividly showed how PP mask can block the invasion of the virus, and showed the significant role of polymer meltblown in epidemic prevention.

This tour simulated the epidemic prevention and control principle of PP mask, showing the great use of polymer material polypropylene meltblown in epidemic prevention and control. Additionally, during the epidemic, Prof. Baoku Zhu and his research group developed a new kind of antimicrobial mask which made great contributions to the anti-epidemic work, showing a sense of responsibility of our department.
